i am sure you have "haves" and "have nots" in your country: that's not the issue - but the fact that you were only here a month does not deny you the right to form an opinion
my point was that racism isn't just targeted against black people, neither is it against white people - there have been frequent incidents here of xenophobic killings, simply because the victim was not black enough. Ethiopians and Somalis in south africa have as much to be concerned about as white people
'kicking out' racism ISN'T about black people, it's about racism, which really is about 'difference' and we are all different, and we are all capable of finding someone to discriminate against
the moment you narrow it down to black people, or left-handed people, or blue-eyed people, it diminishes the distress of other groups
