Im not sure I understand why the distinction is anything other than an acedemic argument. Religious hatred might be different, someome could hate how some interpretations of Islam see women treated terribly, without being a bigot or a racist. But if you shout terrorist at someone leaving a mosque, does it matter what we call that?
