I have always classed, maybe wrongly
as anyone who identifies by a set of beliefs as victims of religious intolerance rather than racism.
how do I decide that?
in my opinion religions is a choice race isn't.
I may be wrong but interested in views
In the case of the Jews the two things appear to be virtually interchangeable. Historically, each has been a cause and consequence of the other.
The tendency is to conflate islamophobia as racism is false, though. Islam is a belief system, not a race. You can object to a Muslimís views without seeming to denigrate his race. That appears to be much harder with Jews.
and when is racism really religious bigotry?
