it suggests that perhaps his lack of end-product isn't necessarily him but the lack of movement around him from the team.
given how much that report praises his quick thinking (as did wenger, and i vaguely recall carlo's said similar a few times) i wonder if it only looks like he's making poor decisions because of the lack of movement elsewhere in the team. after all, no movement means he's got nothing to work with. perhaps what he needs is decent movement around him to make the best use of his talents? we all know our movement is crap most of the time - ball to feet rather than into space, and passing backwards or sideways most of the time. we certainly didn't do much in the first half last night, so he'd have nothing to work with, and to our eyes he would have looked like he was giving us nothing...
