for me he's three players in one- left back right back and centre half. And fairly certain he could do a good job in midfield.
Players like him are worth their weight in gold because he has a winning mentality and will do whatever is asked of him for the team. On Howards way I think it was neville who said Harper and Richardson were our two most important players because they could play anywhere. Family certain harper had every shirt for us except 1 and 9.
Players like this are a rarity. He's young too so will only flourish under Carlo's tutelage. Previous Message
Yep, he's done really well filling in where needed. Hats off to the lad. The real test though will be to see if he can cut in all aspects of being a centre half. I still have doubts over his composure on the ball and distribution, but that's based on very small sample size to date, so such concerns could very easily be ill founded.
As you say, I'm glad we got him on board. A proper defender, and it's not just his pace that makes him so, he has great anticipation and a defender's mindset too. Nothing's getting past this lad. Previous Message

I know some wanted cover up front, and maybe thought we were already covered at the back, and being honest a fair few of us had barely noticed him at Norwich, but I'm damn happy we have him. He's a monster.
