Kanchelskis was clearly asking to be sold and played like it. Half-arsed doesn't even do it justice.
I think that was a game too far for Neville Southall too. He looked ancient that day.
Also, wasn't that the game where it was widely regarded as showing that Kanchelskis' head had been turned by Fiorentina? He had a shocker, while aimlessly wandering backwards was dispossessed by Waddle who went on and scored from the mistake, etc. We were properly shit that day.
Who was the best opposition player you saw.
I don't mean by reputation (there will no doubt be some here who saw Pele, Best, Greaves et al) but what was the best performance you witnessed by an opposing player?
