Yes on that day Gazza was awesome. Everything about him, the skill on the ball and the way he entertained the crowd was fantastic. I felt like it was one of his last chances to play like that and I think judging by his reaction at the end of the game he knew it too.

I know many will go for one of McFadden's first two games for us against Preston and Leeds, but for me it has got to be Gascoigne's cameo in the FA Cup against Leyton Orient in 2002.
OK you've got to take into account the level of the opposition, but on that occasion (and the only occasion) I thought we saw exactly the player everyone had raved about for years previously.
