It was the first non-classical concert ever held at Snape Maltings in Suffolk.

She was scheduled to go on at 8 o'clock but such was the demand for tickets that they arranged another for earlier at 6pm which is the one we went to.

It was the ultimate in doing it only for the money cynicism. It was rushed, made no attempt to communicate with the audience, no encore and got off as fast as they could.

I'm sure she was heartbroken at the news.
