The vaccines are going to the vulnerable first. Have they been tested on people with this risk profile? What would we expect in terms of risk reduction - if the IFR is 0.3% does the vaccine likely reduce that by 90% or does it depend on the IFR of the patient profile? Hope that makes sense...

And what about people who already had CV19 - have the vaccines been tested on them? Does it matter?

No worries Col, the thing about COVID is that it’s new. I don’t think any of the experts feel particularly expert.

I do love the fact that Beryl at the Coop now knows what an R number is and more importantly respiratory consultants and anaesthetists have learned enough virology to manage pay better than before
