once again they have stepped up where so many politicians have been found wanting.

We need far better science education is schools. I didnt learn anything about the scientific method or the peer review process at school. Perhaps if more people understood it a little they would see science isnt the opinion an individual scientist or the result of one computer model, its the whole process and the consensus that results from it, even if that consensus is temporary. I see it like a snap shot, the best possible answer to a given question considering all the evidence available at the time.

Like I said the other day, that process identified and fond a reliable test for a new virus in weeks, it found treatments in months and effective safe vaccines in under a year.

It should be shouted from the rooftops, science has saved us again!.
