No doubt there would be a short term hit
losing the biggest supported terms will impact what the EPL can expect in terms of rights packages.
But the EPL will still be attractive. People wont just stop watching the EPL because of this. I don't know anyone who just watches the champions league.
And if we're winning the league every year and getting into the proper champions league, that will be probably more than compensate for any short term hit we may feel.
and that puts Moshiri and us and big trouble.....if this looks like a real possibility would it affect our ability to fund a stadium? A stadium in the most high profile league in the world is the one thing...a stadium in what effectively becomes a European second division, less so.
Hopefully this is the usual chatter, as much as Id love to see them back of them, Im not sure this would end well for us?
