Youíre right, more luck in the sense the decisions were marginal
VVD is very close to being on side in which case we concede a penalty and a possible Red card snd likewise, Manes inches away from being on late on. Itís the tight margins I was referring to not the decisions.
Then thereís the fact we were unlucky they didnít have two Reds, concede a penalty and miss two great chances.
It wasn't luck.
Under the prevailing laws, the referee with the help of VAR got all the big decisions correct
- Pickford shouldn't have been sent off and he wasn't
- Richarlison should have been sent off and he was
- their goal was proven by technology to be offside so was correctly disallowed
Not getting stiffed by the officials in a derby shouldn't be confused with being lucky.
.....but we dug in and for a change got a bit of luck with SOME of the big decisions.
Worst weíve played all season and you still couldnít beat us
That hate it
we created hardly any chances for DCL and Richarlison, Doucoure, Allan and Gomes all struggled.
The fact we scored two headers, should highlight to every team that plays against LFC this season where they are weak now.
Has Pickford Heyseled Liverpool?
VVD is by far their most important player, losing him is going to have a huge impact not just on their defensive soldity, but their build up play and their confidence. Not to mention the opposition are now going to be mosre confident about getting a result against them.
Has Pickfords challenge basically prevented LFC from enjoying a period of sustained success and hastened Klopp's investible return to Germany.
