I thought Bernard was tired.....
.....and went from player of the match to peripheral as the game went on. Kean I am not so sure.
...but neither of them were showing any signs of slowing down last night - Bernard particularly was still buzzing around and energetically closing them down right up until he was substituted (I know because I had literally just commented that to a mate when the board went up!) so I'm not too sure they wouldn't have both lasted the 90 last night.
100% agree about Delph hoofing it like that - we had been comfortably passing it around and retaining possession for the vast majority of the second half and we just needed to do that a bit more - even if he'd played it back to Mina or Holgate to play back to Pickford who THEN hoofed it would have been better than that - the atmosphere changed as soon as they got the free kick even though it was in the centre circle. Their fans got louder, ours got worried and it almost seemed inevitable
