I suppose the Q is what is her role or ( what should be her role?
I realise atm her biggest role would be to realise the vision that is BMD.
But besides this what does being CEO of a major business involve? Would the overall vision (and indeed culture) of the club be one of her remits as well as taking major strategic decisions?
The thesis of the article is that the recurrent problems stem 'from the top' and the buck stops with Moshiri. DBB is not directly mentioned. Now it may be that we need a different type of CEO (DBB's credentials came largely from her excellent work with EiTC), but the shambolic processes on and often the field surrounding the dismissal of Silva do not appear to have much, if anyting to do with her.
of such a big business. I know she was very good at what she did at EITC but what other experience did she have? This is a crucial post in any large business.
the issues and problems at the club all stem from the top.
