As a Manager in S. America his CV is second to none. He's passionate
and a winner which is exactly what we're crying out for. I know that Guardiola rates him highly and like him is a disciple of Bielsa.
You're right that he hasn't managed in Europe but he has played in France ( PSG & Monaco) where he won French League Player of the Year.
My only reservation would be how good his English is although he also played in the USA for a while so should have some knowledge.
On a different note RB Salzburg play Liverpool tomorrow and could knock them out.
Their Manager Jesse Marsch is an interesting proposition and definitely speaks English.
I will be watching.
Id be a bit worried about anyone with no European management experience, tell me why people seem to rate this guy?
Im not against him btw, I dont know enough to for or against, just wondering what people were seeing in him.
him or ten Hag, and i'll be delighted.
I'd be happy enough with Marcelino too. Who just happens to prefer a 4-4-2. He reseurected Zaza's career using him in a similar way to the way Dunc used DCL at the weekend.
Arm band, Ancelotti, Moyes, Emery, Howe and all the other future West Ham managers can #### off.
as to what kind of Manager this Club needs. Certainly someone who can Motivate and shows enthusiasm and who can connect with the crowd.
I hope what happened on Saturday can make those who will make this decision think very carefully.
Emery is not the answer.
Out of all the candidates I can only see Gallardo as fitting that bill.
As a matter of interest building statues to football heroes only happens to one's who are long dead.
They are building one in tribute to Gallardo at River Plate. He's 44!
