Yep he did but Whyte has progressed massively since that fight.......,
seems thereís two distinct camps - one like yourself seeing a boxing masterclass and the other like me seeing Joshua fighting a considerably overweight and out of shape champion who has lacked the dedication to get fight ready and Joshua failing to to press home all the advantages he had going for himself.
Anyway I was a Joshua fan after his amateur days and watching him spark out Sprott at the Echo Arena but after watching a couple of his WC fights just think heís less talented than a lot of people think. I like Fury for his skill and clowning around but am now most interested in seeing Duboisí development especially after his last couple of fights.
What was good about that performance against an opponent so out of shape and no where near the very top level. Bunce was right in the week before the fight saying that Joshua is still ďa babyĒ in the professional ranks ie inexperienced and still developing. Which for me he showed last night. Have met him, lovely bloke but as I said Fury, Wilder and White will be laughing at that. I donít expect them to meet any time soon but if they do - Joshua isnít winning.
Certainly those on Sky - Nelson, Groves, Froch et al.
I'm no expert but I thought he gave Ruiz a boxing lesson, without taking any risks...?
laugh at that. Allowed Ruiz to get to the centre of the ring on the first bell and stay there. The whole thing for me was a tad embarrassing.
