Players donít have to score or beat 10 men to do their job......,,,
Canít remember what he did wrong because I donít think he did anything wrong. Which says to me he was fine. His berating of Walcott epitomised a good performance. Does shouting at team mates get him a starting line up place when everyone is fit? No. But yesterday he was fine.
Everyone was playing well today.
The guy is a fraud, an imposter,
Went to the in-laws today but managed to watch the match on my phone. Not exactly the best way to watch a game but I don't mind this time.
Some fight. It's obvious no team can play like this every match. There weren't too many bad tackles, though, so even though it was aggressive it was controlled. Defence still looked all over the place at times. Thankfully Chelsea's was even more so.
Can't believe some people are suggesting Dunc should get the job. It was a great experience but a lot of things went right. We were luckier than probably in any game under Silva. Especially the way Chelsea players dallied with the ball inside our penalty area. Under Silva it seemed every mistake like the one Keane made in the first half lead to a goal. And DCL suddenly turned into a lethal scoring machine. Who saw that coming? He was, btw, magnificient even discounting the goals.
Davies needs more work. He again looked lost. Not quite sure where to position himself and making challenges that only lead to him being left behind when Chelsea went forward. I really, really want him to succeed but currently he is a liability in the middle of the park.
Now it will be interesting to see if this was Dunc's only game in charge. It would be a good idea to find the permanent manager this week considering the matches next week.
