Ex-colleague of my wife was from Cheltenham and supported them.
Was speaking to him a few weeks after a Derby at Anfield and he was giving it the big one about how big a Red he was saying he came up to Liverpool for the Anfield Derby game. When I asked him where he was sat in the ground he was responsed ' no, I watched it in a bar in town'
My daughter's last football team had three south Bristolian coaches. All loved nothing better than spending their Sports Direct vouchers on Liverpool kits.
They were all triumphal pricks.
....never ever let a blert who has never kicked a ball in his/her life act all superior with you because the football team he/she supports is better than the one you support...Reflected glory is something they're very good at.
I'm just delighted that I'm an Evertonian...imagine being a red..
I f'cking detest everything about that club (LFC that is). Players, biased ex-players in the media as well as general media fawning all over them, manager and his over the top histrionics and most of all the self-obsessed fans. Living among them is becoming more unbearable every year and if you don't live in these parts please don't say that's an over reaction, in fact I'm holding back quite a bit. Decent reds nowadays are hard to find in the city, god knows what the plastic RS are like from distant parts.
