however, he's quick, strong, and can play off the shoulder of a defender just as well as he holds the ball up with his strength, too, imo.
i do think that there's a tendency to lump it up to him, though - especially when the likes of schneiderlin and siggy play, as it allows dcl to bring them into the game. unfortunately, it then means we can't get dcl into the box to score as much, but often means that other players can do so instead.
imo, dcl for walcott and play dcl in the middle and richarlison on the wing, and we'd see a different dcl to the one you're talking about. however, in a front three and on current form, richarlison, iwobi, and bernard i'd say, but the conundrum then becomes who goes in the middle - gbamin, davies, gomes, perhaps? although as gbamin's agent seems to think he'll end up in defence, perhaps this 4-2-4 approach has more legs in it?
