As many on here will recall,my best mate Chris McCausland did his first stint on Live at the Apollo last year. Tonight he will be on Would I lie to you, having already recorded "8 out 10 cats " and this year Xmas special of "Live at the Apollo". He is doing also booked to Have I got news for you just after Brexit. All this and he is blind as a bat.

REVIEW

In a panel show that includes Rob Brydon, David Mitchell and Lee Mack, it’s not often that one of the guests steals the show. They don’t need to. They’re hired as stooges: be yourself, tell your anecdote and let Mack and Mitchell light the comic fireworks.
Tonight, though, stand-up comic and actor Chris McAusland, who turned to comedy after he lost his sight in his 20s, proves a blindingly good panellist. In one section, the regulars ask him to describe how he thinks they look, judging by their voices. He suggests David Mitchell “Sounds like he looks like a Toby Jug of a duck” – which is hard to beat, really.
It’s a typically upbeat, enjoyable edition to kick off series 13. Did Angela Scanlon fail to recognise Steven Spielberg on the Baftas red carpet? Did John Simm climb into bed naked with his father-in-law? All is revealed.
Pint please kind sir
