hahaha i get the same
apparantly Rebecca is better at reading stories than me. Which is complete bullshit. She just reads the story, no interaction. And she doesn't give piggy backs.
....and it's by far the best bit of my day. She runs over at full steam and launches herself into my arms with an excited yelp of "Daddy!". The thought of that keeps me going through the shitty days at work.
It's then usually followed by "who's putting me to bed tonight?". If I responding saying I am, I get a very disappointed "oh", so the buzz doesn't exactly last long.
Seeing such positive responses to db's post about potential impending fatherhood, it reminded me of a lovely day last year when everyone posted what made them happy.
So along those lines...
What's your favourite thing about being a dad?
