On the other hand, whilst Beardsley has obviously been a cock, Justin Trudeau (I think) a Canadian politician has been accused of racism for going to an Arabian nights fancy dressed party as a browned up Aladdin and also going to another party dressed in full Arab robes as a sheik.
My company are doing a world theme fancy dress day next Friday and my department have been allocated France. The blokes are dressing as French blokes do - Breton shirts, berets and onion or garlic garlands. The girls are going as French maids (yay!)
Should we cancel it?
(One of the girls IS French (looks like 80’s Debbie Harry..) and is co-ordinating..)

So a bloke dresses as Aladdin at an Arabian Nights party and has to apologise for being Racist? The worlds gone ####ing mad!!!
