Hahaha! You probably rode the No.10 bus quite a lot! nt
I didnít grow up in Huyton but recall that Huyton was well known for being a hotbed of homosexuality. In fact everyone I met who was male and from Huyton was definitely gay. ĎTwo dogs pillow bitiní It used to be known by us.
course, although I didnít know it at the time, it was illegal. EveryoneI grew up with would at some point say things that would be frowned upon these days and I wouldnít say them except in jest with close friends. I went away to sea at17 yo and started meeting gays on ships and in ports and was never perturbed by them. Mostly they were funny and........gay. These days Iím amazed at the number of gay people and wonder where they where when I was young. I understand it was because they could be jailed. Iím completely at ease with it as I always was but must admit some of the more extreme ones repulse me. Lots of straight people repulse me too in a similar vein.
If the opinions of everyone on this board on, say, homosexual rights, that were expressed say 25 or 30 years ago, were revealed now, would anyone be embarrassed at their previously held views? Or have your views changed in the intervening years?
