What I find interesting is...
...my accountant never suggested this to me. I found out about it after researching the subject following a sharp increase in my tax bill for the previous tax year.
I did read something advising against making such shares a lower class, I can;t remember the rationale and I did read a ton of conflicting advice!
just in case! Otherwise if things go wrong and your beloved is of a mind to do so, they would have a claim on your business funds as well as personal.
But yeah, it's a fairly common occurrence by all accounts, don't see any problem with it.
Just wondering if any contractors here split the shares in their ltd company with their spouse?
I'm considering doing this, as my wife doesn't utilise her tax allowance, and my accountant says it should be no problem. Just wondering if anyone else does this?
I hear mixed things about doing this when reading online.
Hello, is it me you're looking for?
