I'd do it now. It might go down further but it is also at record lows and you're already well up.
More important is to use a Forex exchange company rather than a bank bit I guess you've got that covered with your other cross-border transactions. If not, I used Smart Currency and Rational FX. PM me on Facebook if you'd like an intro.

Living away / being flakey for years, I've missed a wedge of NI contributions.
I now want to pay the backdated ones, to make sure I get my full pension, whether that's at 67 or whatever the Tories can push through (though I think that'll cause so much turmoil they'll backtrack on it at least partly).
The pound is now 4.43aed to the pound. When I moved here seven years ago it was around 5.5aed.
Should I do it now, or hold on to see if it drops further?
