Worse still, Tampere is seen as the best place to live in Finland.
We've been talking with the missus that if we move somewhere, Tampere tops the list of destinations.
"Tampere has a typical subarctic climate border in the Tampere–Pirkkala Airport (TMP) with only 3 months above 10 °C. Winters are cold and the average temperature from November to March is below 0 °C (32 °F). Summers are cool to warm. On average, the snow season lasts 4–5 months from late November to early April.
Tampere is dubbed the " Manchester of Finland " for its industrial past as the former center of Finnish industry, and this has given rise to its Finnish nickname "Manse" and terms such as "Manserock"
I get that the Brexit stuff is beyond frustrating, but moving to a deep frozen version of Manchester seems a bit drastic....
Joking apart, welcome, and look forward to your posts on our beloved EFC.
The very reason I now hold dual citizenship. So, so bored of that conversation. Actually, conversation implies a reasoned discussion, whereas Brexit largely seems to involve two sides both shouting loudly until one or both becomes too bored to continue. A bit like me trying to get my kids out the house to school in the morning.
Long-time lurker, read the board daily for years. Once of North Wales/Brighton/York, now been in Finland for 16 years, for some reason decided today was the day to throw my hat in the ring and actually post a message. Pleased to meet you all, fellow blues.
