Poinsettas grow well here in our area, they are seen growing in yards like in my home growing up . My mom had them up to the roof edge by Christmas , just gorgeous, folks knew she would cut them back after the holidays. They would pass by and grab up some of the cutting. She had to put them in hot or warm water in tubs and the people could take what they wanted.Jim and I usually buy ours in pots when they hit the stores, this yr since we have a smaller place,the $ 6.95 reds at Wal Mart fit just fine on our little dining table.
