My mom;s daddy was born in bayou cty of southern Louisiana and I knew him the best, in my hometown where she was raised, He was Catholic, came into mass every morn and I often went with him. My gmmom was Presbyterian, we were raised as such and the next generations as well but we all blend ok. My daddy's dad worked security in Houston for the railroad as well as the Rice Hotel later. His mom died at his birth. My mom's daddy was widowed and remarried a LA lady and she was a super gmom we all remember, made great gumbo...LOL
