Having the week I have just had. A week ago today, we were in a parking lot beginning our usual Tues coffee time with Jim's class of '59 hs pals that we see often but always tues morn. I somehow fell and took a bad fall, caught myself with both palms. bashed big holes in my knees, and landed on left side of my face. Have seen 4 drs, spent7 hrs in ER, scans, no breaks except one bone under my eye above my cheek that will heal in about 4 weeks- no surgery. Full of moving facial and hand and leg bruises but very lucky. Have missed some impt dates but look so bad and not up to all the questions. I am so grateful I am not laying in bed staring at the ceiling with a busted hip so I will be patient and adjust.
