1947, hospital 5 miles from my hometown, Mission, TX. Rio Grande Valley delta between Gulf of Mex and Mexico Rio Grande river. Ag area, cotton, grains, citrus and winter veggies. Our sugar cane was plowed up- Mex owes us millions of gals of water for many yrs and we don't have water for crops.
