My second job I was in advertising at "America's #1 Variety Store." I was there for 15 years. I was a graphic designer/illustrator/mechanical artist. I was one of the few employees who knew how to do every job in our department and when needed I could help out anyone. It was great, never boring. Loved the job, loved my co-workers. Then the 80's hit with corporate takeovers and the company purged all the old employees at the top and brought in new. The company was then mismanaged, no one knew what they were doing and they tanked the company. I got out before the company closed.
Then I freelanced drawing Black and Decker power-tools out of their office in Baltimore. Half the stuff I didn't know what it was, but I just liked to draw. I liked that job too, and good money working out of my home.
That is my work history.
