Sue, I think we can suffer from the "doldrums: we are not quite back to normal in our home as several things have taken place.

I hadn't posted this as when reading what others post, I don't think we matter that much. Our health is pretty good, altho the Dr wants to get a week record of my BP, taken twice a day. I don't anticipate any problems.

We were preparing to leave for the holidays with our daughters and family in N TX. 3 days before leaving, we arrived from supper out and found out we had been robbed. They took our tablets, Jim's phone, our TV and all the stuff it uses and my jewelry box and a precious to us glass bowl that we received 56 yrs ago as a wedding gift. We have our lives and that is what our girls keep telling us.

I guess we put all that on the back burner as being with our family for so many days was such a treat. Our LA daughter rarely has more than 2 nights, 3 days to visit due to her job. This time she had almost a week planned and then got A flu diagnosis after the holidays so she stayed a bit longer. We were all in church Eve, first time in 11 yrs. All that was so special to us all the robbers were put on the back burner in our minds. I guess I will close by saying now that we are home, the reality of what happened is hitting us. We are doing the best we can, still see our friends as usual but spending a bit more time at home. We will be fine, know God is Good and we are looking at something we can work on to help someone in need as that is a way we like to stay busy and happy., Sue, is there anywhere you can volunteer around your town? There is no demand nor schedule when you volunteer.
