I guess we are as old as our bodies allow us to be. So far, neither of us have aches and pains as much as many of our friends do. I think genetics have a lot to do with it.
My first retirement came at age 48, company was sold and cutbacks were by yrs of service, I was the bably with 19 yrs. Stayed home, took care of MIL for 6 yrs and went back to work in education for 5 yr.
Probably when Jim retired at 65 and I was 58 was the beginning of our travel in our new 5th wheel and new lifestyle and socializing. A very happy time.
