My dishes were spaghetti and chicken pot pie with homemade noodles. Family always liked them. When I cooked for FIL after MIL died, I used to give him plain steamed cauliflower. I have to laugh because it's so simple. You just steam it. But he loved it. MIL always cooked the hell out of vegetables and always had some kind of sauce on them.
