I agree...things change as we age...including enjoyment of holidays. At our ages, most of us have lost far too many loved ones to find true enjoyment in life.
But, I've found that without Bill, my life is now upside down....yet I still have to find joy in small things or I'll just be sad and miserable. So, I'll put a pumpkin on my porch and put up a Christmas tree and try to keep things as normal as possible...I'm still trying....
