I've read that he passed at home at the age of 88. I've alway loved his music....both his song-writing and singing. One of my favorites has always been "Me and Bobby MaGee"(Janis Joplin)....He also wrote "Sunday Morning Coming Down". (recorded by Johnny Cash) ...That's where I got my "Sunday Morning Sidewalk" post many years ago. Are/were you a fan of his?
