canning or freezing of produce (fruits/vegetables) in the Fall? I remember as a kid the neighborhood would smell awesome as the women in the area were all canning tomatoes....
For many years, Bill and I would can tomato sauce/chili saucce when tomatoes became plentiful. We enjoyed doing that. Had a recipe that had been passed dowwn thrugh the years from Bill's family. I miss those days.
