That would be the Nonemaker brothers porch. They were a bunch of street toughened kids in our neighborhood and everyone, both guys and girls from blocks away would gather on their porch to smoke cigarettes, an occasional joint and talk and hang out.

Their Mother was a drunk and was probably sitting in a bar somewhere with a current boyfriend and was rarely home. These boys practically raised themselves & their younger brothers and sisters and that didn't end well. Both brothers ended up in prison years later. Today they'd probably send CPS there to take care of that situation, but back then everyone just turned their head and pretended they didn't see.
