We are stll on the road, left yesterday from N TX with our daughter and her family, loved time with the grands, both have jobs and already making plans for next school y. Our oldest, 19, waited tables at a local Mex place, did quite well in tips, the just turned 15 yr old works in a Greek place as hostess. Was not looking but the owner came to the table she was with her parents after church and asked her to talk after their meal. She has already gotten raised to 10 an hr plus the tips she gets from taking orders, prepping packages and taking call ins to the cars. Average tip there is $ 5. she says. She is already saving for law school , good chance for a free ride for undergrad school so she is told. Both are church raised girls, have lots of good activities and stay off the streets..LOL
