6A: Roseburg has one of the most impressive lineups in the state, with five #1-ranked wrestlers (Hunter Sparks, Bennett Mesa, Layne Vananrooy, Brandon Jeffers, and Haydn Maley), five #3-ranked wrestlers (Shane Sabins, Austin Harris, Matthew McDowell, Terrell Jacks and Cameron Campbell) and another four wrestlers ranked in the top eight. David Douglas, Sprague and Century are in a tight race for #2 team, each with at least seven team members ranked in the top 8.
5A: This should be a very close race between Sandy (#1), Hermiston (#2), Crater (#3) and Dallas (#4). The team point difference between these four teams is miniscule, and all of them have at least eight wrestlers ranked in the top 8.
4A: Marshfield has the preseason lead in this class, and Sweet Home is very close. Marshfield is lead by three wrestlers at the top of the preseason rankings: Joseph Paramo, AJ Lira and Travis Wittlake. Baker/Powder Valley, Henley and North Marion should all be competing for the top spot as well.
3A: Nyssa has three number one wrestlers: Heath Hartley, Jose Candelas and Osiris Tapia, as well as eight others in the top 8. This class has several teams with deep line-ups, including Harrisburg (#2), Dayton (#3), Creswell (#4), Riverside (#5), Willamina (#6) and La Pine (#7).
2A: Culver (#1) looks stacked coming into the year, with five wrestlers ranked #1: Lorenzo Vasquez, Jace Oppenlander, Jorge Olivera, Marco Retano, and Jaiden Jones, as well as eight others in the top 8. Lowell (#2) is not far behind, and Central Linn (#3) should be very competitive.
