2016 Rumble at the Ridge Folkstyle Wrestling Championships

Date/Location: Saturday, July 23rd, 2016. Emerald Ridge High School, 12405 184th Street E, Puyallup, WA 98374

Cost: $25.00 cash only entry fee to be paid at check-in; please bring exact change – NO CHECKS.

Awards: Top four finishers in each weight class will receive medals.

Pre-registration Information: Pre-registration will be on Trackwrestling and will close at Midnight on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016; walk-up registration will be allowed but all competitors should pre-register. Wrestlers can only compete in one division/age group but will have the option to participate in the next higher division/age group with written parental permission in accordance with the tournament Liability/Medical release form. Divisions and Age Groups: Pee Wee Division will be for competitors that are between the ages of 4-5 years old. Novice Division will be for competitors that are between the ages of 6-8 years old. Intermediate Division will be for competitors that are between the ages of 9-12 years old. Middle School Division will be for competitors that are between the ages of 13-14 years old. Girls High School Division will be for competitors between the ages of 15-18 and who must be entering grades 9-12 during the 2016-17 school year. Boys High School Division will be for competitors between the ages of 15-18 years old and who must be entering grades 9-12 during the 2016-17 school year. Male competitors that are age 18 and older and are out of high school will compete in the Senior Men’s Division.

Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins for all age divisions will be conducted from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM. Novice 110+ and Intermediate 175+ weight classes shall not have more than a 20-pound maximum weight differential between any competitor.

Start Times: Pee Wee through Intermediate Divisions will begin at 9:30 AM and Middle School through Men’s Senior Divisions will begin at 11:30 AM (ALL START TIMES ARE ESTIMATES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

Medical and Liability Release Form: All competitors must submit a completed Liability/Medical Release Form at registration. Any competitor under the age of eighteen (18) years of age must have a parent and or guardian written consent to participate. Any competitor found providing false registration information in regards to age/grade level will be disqualified from the tournament and their entry fee will not be refunded.
