She added some sounds of life to our street. She was the only ES student on our block.

My parents' block (my childhood home) went many years with few little kids around.

Virtually everyone on the block were empty nesters. The last 5 years or so that has finally changed, much to the delight of my mother. She is now very popular with all the neighbor kids who frequently come to visit her. She has chalk for the sidewalks, full candy jars and lots of bubble wands to play with.

Guns. Have them.
