So David Lee Roth last week canceled almost all of his remaining tour dates this year.

There was not any official explanation why and some people speculated that he might be suffering from an illness of some sort. But then news quickly broke that no one is buying tickets to any of his shows. Which I guess isn't a surprise. Still, I *maybe* have been tempted to see him in Louisville. I checked his set list and he plays almost entirely VH stuff. I know his voice is shot but I still like the guy.

I doubt it will ever happen but if Dave played the Arcada in St. Charles . . .

. . . Dave playing earlier this year at Summer Fest in Milwaukee. A review from a guy who was present for the show and who has seen VH / Dave in concert 4 times over the years. Someone who legitimately likes Dave. Dave's show was held in a free pavilion open to all attendees. Only the first few rows were reserved and required a ticket. Only about half those seats were sold.

That has to be jarring to a guy who once played before packed venues.
