Was it the same people who did Snow White who thought a live action remake of Moana was a good idea?

Oops at the open and with reviews.

From what I read they did a shot for shot recreation of the animated version.

Why?

Sure is the Summer of Box Office Bombs. Supergirl, this one, and "Masters of the Universe".

Gotta admit I've never heard anything about that last one. Perhaps I'm not in their target market. :-O
