Empty bench, I go to set up. Lady gets off a hip thrust machine next to my bench, comes over and says she’s just going to finish up her last set on the bench I was just setting up.

Mainly on my treadmill at home, but I’ve done it a couple of times at the gym also.

It’s to strengthen the muscles that support your knees. You need to do it at a pretty good incline though. Also helps strengthen your lower back.

It’s part of the knees over toes protocol. It definitely helps with knee pain if you’re consistent with it.
