In the IL pension plan, I think he needs to stay where he’s at until Brad retires…probably in 3-5 years.

He will probably take a pay cut but I’d think he’d be in high demand for a power conference team.

This just seems a little odd from a percentage and a non top 3 assistant.

I think most people were expecting a raise for him, but the other guys did a great job too.

And assistant salaries have exploded but Geoff was just making $400k. I’m guessing he got bumped to over $500k

but we've been at the bottom in recent enough memory that i'm not going to gripe about possibly overspending.

for all we know its money that otherwise would have gone largely to the HC in his deal, and he reapportioned it as he desired.
