for good entry points into bonds. Deploying that had been difficult but this market action has me feeling better. A lot of my entry points were over 5% so it ain't no thang. I have several maturities that I'm still trying to buy for my "glidepath to 80" so this has me feeling better.

The crazy shit is that the JGB 30 year has now burst through 4%. That scares me more than the Treasury market.

and after almost 15 years of ZIRP the long bond market looks reasonably attractive again. My allocation is still heavily weighted to stonks, but I think there is a high probability that AI and the impending wave of Boomer deaths will be deflationary and the Fed is gonna fight like hell to pull the curve down.
