In today's paper mail: I am a partner at Veritas Law LLP, and Maria X died from COVID. She left behind around $10.8M. We have not been able to find any heirs. I can help you be named the beneficiary. We can donate 10% to charity and split the rest.

there will be a breakthrough in the case in which it is determined that you are, in fact, entitled to $4.9 million. They will seek checking account information to wire it to and will initiate a bunch of fake checks or crack the ACH system on the account to send money out. It's definitely something along those lines. Amazing that they are going through regular mail now, the postal police will sometimes actually look into that stuff. Whoever in the US coordinated to get it into the actual mail has gigantic balls or a small brain.

He was recently changing internet providers and was trying to figure out the best way to circumvent the inevitable barrage of "how can we keep you as a customer."

So he walks into the office with his old cable modem. Immediately they ask why he is leaving them... deadpan he says. "I'm going to be going to jail for a while..." Receptionists just takes his modem and tells him to have a good day. lol
