Another big win for Commissar Bai-Den and the federal judiciary

A few years ago JetBlue and Spirit signed a merger agreement to combine operations. The Department of Justice blocked the deal and in the ensuing litigation Spirit testified that they were not viable as a standalone enterprise.
A federal judge who was appointed by Reagan and long ago should have retired sided with the government. His concluding remarks in the opinion were:
“To those dedicated customers of Spirit, this one’s for you. Why? Because the Clayton Act, a 109-year-old statute requires this result—a statute that continues to deliver for the American people.”
Fast forward to today. Spirit is allegedly going to run out of cash at any moment and cease operations. They can only buy fuel on a cash basis because no one will lend them any money. This is going to strand thousands of uberprole passengers who flew Spirit in the first instance because they're too poor to afford anything but the Greyhound of the Skies.
So congratulations, Biden voters, when you see the inevitable news stories of stranded passengers in the coming days, you go ahead and pat yourself on the back and say "I helped put that person in that position." Nice job! "Iowa women were better than Illini men" - Potomac
