Because nobody effin' cares about the WNBA.

Remember the MLB strike, and the NFL strike? Teamsters weren't going to cross their picket lines, etc... suuuurrrre, that'll happen this time too.

See how attendance and revenue go this year. Is the trend up strongly or modestly, or flat or declining? The players assume onward and upward. If I'm Adam Silver or one of the team owners, I'm not sure.

Of course, if you are the owner of one of the new franchises, you probably assume strong growth, or you were an idiot to pay so much.
